Requirements
Using Kaltura or similar software, record an audiovisual presentation of your plan for implementing new educational technology, an upgrade in existing technology, or a change in how existing technology is currently being used.

Before you begin work on your presentation, develop a detailed outline of your implementation plan, using the Implementation Plan Template. The outline will guide the development of your presentation and serve as a useful handout for the attendees.
The implementation plan requirements, outlined below, correspond to the grading criteria in the scoring guide, so be sure to address each point. Read the performance-level descriptions for each criterion to see how your work will be assessed. In addition, be sure to note the requirements below for presentation format and length and for citing supporting evidence.

Slide 3: The educational technology change will include two main changes for improvement. Upgrading to a new Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) is essential for the improvement of the quality of opioid prescriptions that are issued. Such a system will enable healthcare providers to make informed decisions with greater confidence, ensuring that only necessary and safe prescriptions are dispensed. To optimize the utilization of the learning management system, it is critical to promote awareness of its availability among end-users. The organization is shifting to more advanced clinical decision support systems and embracing a learning management system as a way to maximize our effectiveness in dealing with opioid prescription practices. This will ultimately lead to an overall improvement in our performance. By switching to a new clinical decision support system, the organization can better track and monitor the development and administration of opioid prescriptions to reduce the risk of dependence and toxicity.
Slide 4: Planning for a change is multidimensional and requires careful assessments of needs, resources, and workflows. A needs assessment will include, but is not limited to, financial needs, educational needs, clinical support, and healthcare quality needs. Failing to manage resources wisely would delay or even derail your implementation plans. For a seamless user experience, it is important to provide offline mobile support. This can be achieved through the development of a custom mobile app or desktop application that works even when there is no internet. Once an internet connection is available, data synchronization can occur automatically.
