Open the DNP Project Manuscript you began in NR702. Your DNP Project Manuscript should be the approved version submitted in NR702.  If there are any track changes or comments in your NR702 final approved paper, accept the track changes and make the revisions requested before starting work on this assignment. The data collecting and analysis plan for the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is an essential component that necessitates precise attention to detail. Data Collection Instrument:

The primary objective is to measure the change in anxiety levels experienced by adult psychiatric patients after participating in an 8-10-week MBSR program. The primary data collection tool to evaluate the effects of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program on anxiety levels in adult psychiatric patients will be the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7 (GAD-7) scale. It has been chosen because of the GAD-7’s proven validity and reliability in identifying and grading the severity of generalized anxiety disorders (Lee & Kim, 2019; Sapra et al., 2020). This seven-item scale provides a numerical assessment of the intensity of anxiety. Each question is scored on a range from 0 to 3.

Two quantifiable goals will serve as the focal point of the data collection process:
